Our firm has evolved over the last forty years but our base core has remained the same. Our journey began in 1980 with Arq. Andres Otero & Arq. Jorge Ramos, architecture school friends founded Otero Ramos Arquitectos, and formed a partnership that lasted a decade. From the beginning the firm established our core principles of architectural excellence through technical innovation to provide a personalized service. Core principles which still drive us today.

1990-2009

After a Decade in partnership, Andres Otero founded Andres Otero & Associates in 1990 which in 1995 became Servicios Tecnicos y Desarrollos Inc. Under this new venture the Architechnika brand was born as a d.b.a. and consolidated our current design philosophy further, finally evolving into what it is today. This was this year that Andres Otero Jr began his student career in Architecture and began establishing a new direction in the firm, integrating the latest technologies into the firm’s design process, creating the bedrock for the next step in its evolution.

2010-Today

After 15 successful years in the design & construction industry, Servicios Tecnnicos & Desarrollos, which had been operating under the ArchiTechnika brand (d.b.a.) evolved into its current iteration. In 2009 ArchiTechnika Inc. was born, together with his father and mentor, Andres Otero Jr became co-founder and partner breathing life to a new way of engaging the design process and consolidating his 10 years of experience as Head of Design @ Servicios Tecnicos y Desarrollos into what the firm is today. Through the use of the latest design software and industry standards he has created the ultimate lean machine. A boutique design firm that can handle projects of any scale through the use of strategic partnerships and technology. As an early adopter of 3D software, BIM and Project Management platforms we have the capabilities to leverage 40 years of continuous a design practice to tackle any project, no matter how small or large. All our projects receive the same dedication and attention to detail that have characterized us to this day.
